Cure Thrift
91 3rd Avenue
New York, NY 10003
Cure Thrift is a non-profit thrift destination in Manhattan’s East Village that benefits juvenile diabetes research and advocacy. Cure Thrift’s founder, Liz Wolff was diagnosed with type 1 (juvenile) diabetes when she was 11 years old. As a fourth generation garage sale and thrift shop-scouring, dumpster-diving New Yorker, Liz combined her passion for arts and antiques with her personal mission: to dedicate her life to finding a cure for type 1 diabetes. Cure Thrift opened its doors in 2008 and quickly rose to thrift shop stardom. With a dream team of artists and designers who share a passion for fashion, antiques, vintage, and the obscure, Cure has quickly become the most magical thrift experience in Manhattan. Cure Thrift’s new location has transformed the corner of 12th and 3rd into a treasure hunter’s paradise. This is thrift store heaven. Walk through our doors and lose yourself for hours.
