Some people dream of being astronauts, some people want to be president. Todd Graves, our Founder, dreamed of opening an amazing Chicken Finger Restaurant. With his hard-earned money and a little help from the friends he made along the way, he began building the first Raising Cane’s at the North Gates of LSU in Baton Rouge – Now known as The Mothership. On August 28th, 1996, the first location opened. It was the start of Todd’s commitment to serve craveable Chicken Finger meals, with a great Crew, cool Culture and being actively involved in the Community – a commitment that continues in every Raising Cane’s today.
